Airmaster Aerator

The Airmaster Aeration System is the Answer to Surface Foaming from Aeration

The pond aeration and foam suppression system of the future is here! The Airmaster Aeration System effectively aerates wastewater in ponds, lagoons, basins and reservoirs while simultaneously suppressing surface foaming.

Aerobic and anaerobic bacteria provide a path for treating wastewater. Aerobic bacteria produce carbon dioxide as a byproduct, which does not result in noxious odors--but the byproducts of some anaerobic bacteria can cause some really bad smells. And at times, the oxygen content of the wastewater is insufficient to support the bacterial activity. Aeration increases the amount of oxygen in the wastewater--but some methods of aeration result in surface foaming on the aerated water.

Enter the Airmaster Aeration and Foam Suppression System! Our system is configured to raise the dissolved oxygen level in the water, provide high-capacity water movement, evaporation and cooling, while suppressing the foam on the surface of the pond. The Airmaster system can be used in water and wastewater treatment, aquaculture, and in agricultural and industrial applications. Our system is buoyant and floats on top of the pond water.

The aeration portion of the system includes a turbo blower configured to inject air into a water stream and a discharge pressure manifold coupled to the turbo blower and configured to forcibly discharge the air-injected water stream into the body of water or wastewater. Aeration causes bubbles, however, which may rise to become surface foam, which may cover a wide area and be surprisingly deep. For suppression of surface foam by our system, a submersible pump draws in liquid from beneath the surface and a sprinkler head in fluid communication with the pump ejects a portion of the subsurface fluid intake onto the surface of the pond. The spray quashes the surface foam. The sprinkler head can be set to rotate and spray at multiple angles and spray fluids to a distance in diameter of at least 100 feet.
