[Adv.] Save Money, No Catch

Published:

We have a whole group of ways for you to save money in 2009. They are either free or at a much reduced cost to what you have been experiencing. I thought we would gather them all here in one place for your benefit. None of them have any catches--what you see is what you get. Why do we do this? Simply, to build our internet traffic. Do we sell email address? No. Our sites earn their keep with display advertising.

If you want to...

Buy or sell used capital equipment without fees...

Mills can list equipment to buy or equipment to sell at no charge at www.fixedassetrecovery.com. We always need listings and if you don't see listings, it is because the items usually move fast. Saves you on equipment brokerage fees, for there are none.

Buy or sell odd lot paper or pulp without fees...

Mills and converters can list odd lots to buy or to sell at no charge at www.siderolls.com. We always need listings and if you don't see listings, it is because the items usually move fast. Saves you on odd lot brokerage fees, for there are none.

Join your peers around the world with no membership costs...

Join the growing Cellulose Community. www.cellulosecommunity.org. We have an impressive board and enthusiastic members everywhere. Saves you membership dues, for there are none.

Advertise your executive search business for free...

Again, join the growing Cellulose Community. www.cellulosecommunity.org. We list search firms for free.

Improve your resume for free...

Send what you have gotten together to me, Jim Thompson, at jthompson@taii.com. Attach the file (MS Word doc, please) and in the Subject line put "Resume Help." I'll do my best to get it in shape for you, no charge, no catch, as long as you are in the pulp and paper industry.

Interest young people in pulp and paper for free...

Send them to Cellulose Citizens. www.cellulosecitizens.org. We need to do some updating on this site (and we are looking for volunteers to help with this), but it is a start for that budding scientist or engineer that wants to be involved in the greatest renewable resource on earth.

Who says nothing is free? And, again, there are no catches.

Jim
