AF&PA Thanks Senate Finance Committee for Passing Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. (News release) - American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) President and CEO Donna Harman issued the following statement regarding Senate Finance Committee passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:

"The paper and wood products industry thanks the Senate Finance Committee for recognizing the need for tax solutions that support American manufacturing. With 900,000 employees in rural and urban communities across 45 states, we are one of the largest manufacturing sectors in the nation and urge the full Senate to follow the committee's lead. When tax rates are globally competitive and provide opportunity for investment, all businesses are better equipped to expand and create jobs for decades to come."
