Buckeye Corrugated Inc. (BCI), Akron, Ohio has acquired Bellotti Packaging, Inc. (known as Bell-Pak) located in Syracuse, New York.

Bell-Pak, started in 1986, was previously owned by Louis Bellotti, Jr. Since its inception, Bell-Pak has been regarded as one of the leading independent sheet plants in Syracuse, New York.

BCI President & CEO, Doug Bosnik, said: "Lou Bellotti and the associates at Bell-Pak have built a solid business in service to their customers. That service culture will continue as we complete this next succession step for their company.Going forward, Bell-Pak will be merged into BCI's Empire Division which will add to BCI's growing market position in upstate New York."

BCI, an employee-owned company has fourteen locations including nine sheet plants, a sales/design center, and a sheet feeder joint venture all serving the East, Midwest and Southern United States.
