Do you think life is simple?

In my column last week, we simply asked, “Do you think life is simple?"

54.5 percent answered "Yes," and 36.4 percent answered "No."

We then asked, "What three things can you resolve to do to simplify your life?"

Here are the responses:

The first question is very complicated!! Organize, clean and keep my office orderly.

Eat, drink, & exercise in moderation

Live for the moment.

Stop procrastinating; wine and bourbon are about the only things that get better with time and even they have 'their time'.

Do not try to answer the first question.

Work hard.

Watch less TV

Do not discuss politics

Being less worried

Go to bed at 10 instead of staying up to watch news that I already know about. Then, I could get up earlier and enjoy the quiet time that's really only there at that time of day.

Treat others nicely and politely.

Pay more attention to my daily plans and less to my 'wants' as they arise.

Stop trying to get things that you don't need.

Get rest when you need it.

Spend less time on the internet

Do not create enemies

Just look at the dimensions, not all the things behind it

Take time to reflect and think about family, friends and God. Read more books - history, biography, but very little self-improvement and political analysis. watch Veggie - Tails with or without grand kids.

Forgive and forget - but don't be repeatedly victimized.

Put God first, your spouse second, and your kids third.

Don't forget your family.

Plant a garden

I should not be always right

Make more us of the dog (and in our house also the cats) and less use of the clock/alarms

You may take this week's quiz here.

Want to get a jump on the surveys? Follow me on twitter, where they are posted early. You can do this here. (note: all respondents are confidential; the software is programmed in such a way that neither we nor anyone else can determine who responded)
