>We need a significant PR campaign to educate the public on the renewability of trees and therefore paper (it makes more sense to dedicate land and energy to trees than to corn for ethanol, for example). Contrast this to petroleum-based products. Another part of this PR should be the carbonsequestration benefits of growing/using/re-using trees and the biomass powerplants that paper mills use.

>To start with, they have to get rid of the stench; that automatically proves that the mills polute, giving credence to all of the rest of the mis-information that environmentalist spread. Then a coordinated, national campaign to publicize why paper mills are good for the US must be developed and implemented.
>Publicize the many ways that paper is essential to daily life--bath tissue anyone? packaging? and more. Use the many forms of communication, especially social media. Show examples of life without paper in some less obvious cases.
