In my column last week, we asked readers "When you were a child, did you do any activities alongside an adult that led to your career choice?"
A total of 70.6 percent answered "Yes," and 29.4 percent replied "No."
Then, we asked, "Around your home, do you generally do minor repairs, such as replace leaking faucet washers and so forth?"
100 percent said "Yes."
Finally, we asked, "If you answered yes to question 2, have you been successful in getting young people to watch and learn from the experience?"
47.1 percent replied "Yes," and 52.9 percent said "No."
