In my column last week, we asked, "Do you spend any time worrying about outside influences on the survival of your job?"

Ten percent responded "Most of the time," 40 percent said "Some of the time," 30 percent said "Occasionally," and 20 percent responded "Never."

We then asked, "If a severe government (or other influence) put your job in peril, would you..."

Sixty percent answered "Be able to recognize it," 30 percent said "Not recognize it," and 10 percent responded "Not worry about it."
