Last week, we asked your perception of honesty today as compared to years past:

1 more responsibility and more transparent, so less places to hide indiscretions or monetary issues.
2 I think that information is more readily available now, including what your competition is doing. More transparency equals less cheating. I hope I'm right.
3 Tighter policies on gifts from suppliers or potential suppliers have improved the purchasing process.
4 Greenpeace filed for bankruptcy 45 days after the Soviet Union collapsed. Coincidence? I don’t think so
5 Whole requirements for audit trails are much higher stopping many previous dishonesties, However when it comes to personal honesty (CVs, taking credit for work not one’s own, etc.) massive decline.
6 IP's policy against accepting gifts over $25.00 in value.

I routinely read your newsletter and  find it informative and fun!   However, when you use punctuation certain types of punctuation in the subject line of your newsletters they get thrown into junk mail by our mail monitor…. Just a thought, your less technologically adept readers may not know they can or how to, add you to their safe sender lists.

Did you compose the tag line at the bottom of your emails?  I ask because I note that a tag line very similar to yours showed up at the bottom of an email recently…

Yes I did.  I put it in a Nip Impressions some time ago and many have asked if they could copy it, which I said, "Of course."  The version you have cited is a bit of a modification.  The original reads this way:

"Notice: It is OK to print this e-mail. Paper is a biodegradable, renewable, sustainable product made from trees. Growing and harvesting trees provides jobs for millions of men and women. Working forests are good for the environment, providing clean air, clean water, wildlife habitat, carbon neutral energy, carbon storage and can help mitigate forest fires."
