JAPAN (News release) -- Rengo Co., Ltd. says it has acquired a 100% stake in Sugii Kogyosho Co., Ltd., making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Rengo will strengthen the cooperation between Sugii Kogyosho and neighboring plants directly managed by Rengo and will continue to expand the corrugated packaging business of Group companies in the same region.

Sugii Kogyosho is a manufacturer of corrugated boxes which operates in the Southern area of the Boso Peninsula, Japan. It was founded in 1947, has been soundly managed since its founding, and has a solid customer base.
