Semitractor-trailers collide at main gate of Georgia-Pacific paper mill

TOLEDO, Oregon (From the News Times) -- Two fully loaded semitractor-trailers collided at the main gate of the Georgia-Pacific paper mill on Wednesday, Jan. 18, closing Butler Bridge Road for four hours while police, fire and public works personnel responded.

Nobody was injured in the crash, which occurred when one driver attempted to pull out of the gate without yielding for a truck trying to enter, said Cassie Griffith, the dispatch office supervisor with the Toledo Police Department.
