Jim,
I guess you did not want to anger the paper industry. Fewer employees,
working more hours, effectively lowering the hourly wage... good example -
my former employer.
My favorite is the [almost] universally smaller rolls of bath tissue, aka
butt paper. Some states are considering lawsuits. With a smaller roll I
use more to obtain the same effect. And it is not due to inflation of my
posterior, in fact I weigh 50 pounds less that 20 years ago when I got
married. A substantial amount of that loss is posterior. We used to make
fun of baggy pants, now we are one!
