You have got to be kidding!

Jim,

You struck a nerve today with your article on vendors.  These companies that have huge websites and don't put their phone number in any easily discernible location both mystify and infuriate me.  When did it become good business practice to be hard to reach?  All the other issues you reference were, unfortunately, familiar as well.

On the other hand, I recognize a sales opportunity when I hear it grumbling.  If you're ever looking to spend a clients money on a fine U.S. made wet lap line, twin wire pulp thickener, or sludge press, you can be sure that you will talk to me direct, or if you leave me a message or e-mail I will get back to you as promptly as possible.  If it takes more than a day, you can assume that I am either travelling out of the country or deep in the bowels of a mill where the cell don't shine.

I always enjoy your columns and your insights into this fine, if struggling, industry.  Keep up the good work, and as I always say:

"Thank you for this opportunity to be of service!"

Best Regards,
