Alkim Kagit invests in vacuum system at Kemalpasa mill in Turkey

Runtech Systems delivers a RunEco vacuum system rebuild to Alkim Kagit in Kemalpasa, Izmir, Turkey. The delivery to PM2 includes an EP600 Turbo Blower with EcoDrop water separator and EcoFlow dewatering measurements for vacuum system optimization. Delivery also includes a specialist visit during machine startup to help optimize the existing equipment.

Alkim Kagit produces over 90,000 tonnes of photocopy and offset paper annually at Kemalpasa site. On PM1, an EP Turbo Blower has been operating since 2016. A service contract ensures optimal operation of the vacuum system. The relocated PM2 will produce the same grades and the total production capacity will be 215,000 tonnes.

Alkim Paper produces woodfree offset, coated paper and office papers. 85-90% of the products are sold in the domestic market, the remaining share exported mainly to Europe.
