Chris Demler promoted to Vice President, Fiber Processing of Kadant

I am pleased to announce Chris Demler has been promoted to Vice President, Fiber Processing effective January 1, 2025. In this new role Chris will have responsibility for Kadant's global fiber processing companies: Black Clawson, Lamort, Fiberline China, and Upcycling. Chris will transfer his responsibilities to Kenny Leathers as President of KBC on January 1, and move to the Westford office early in the year.

Chris has served as president of Kadant Black Clawson since 2019 and has filled various roles in business and technology development since joining as a Product Manager in 2006. He has provided strong technical leadership including the development of seven patents for KBC.

Chris has built a culture of collaboration and engagement in the Lebanon office which contributes to the organization's success. Under his leadership, KBC has achieved strong financial and operational results, and implemented several key initiatives including 80/20 which have all helped the division achieve record results.

Chris brings his collaborative, consultative approach to leadership to the Fiber Processing team. I am confident he will guide the group to even greater success for Kadant. Please join me in congratulating Chris on his promotion.

Michael Colwell

Senior Vice President, Industrial Processing
