The hygiene and health company Essity is close to appointing a new CEO, according to information to EFN Finansmagasinet.
After what is said to have been a messy and sometimes slow process, the choice will be between two internal candidates: Ulrika Kolsrud, who has been head of the health and medicine business area since 2019, and Pablo Fuentes, who is head of the hygiene business area.
Essity is said to have had other people higher up on the wish list but they have declined.
The company has declined to comment.
Essity's current CEO Magnus Groth announced his resignation on January 22 this year. His notice period is 12 months.
