PINE BLUFF, Ark. (From news reports) -- Local authorities are investigating after an accident at Pactiv Evergreen/Evergreen Packaging proved to be fatal Friday morning, March 18.

44 year old Charles Allen Watt has been identified by authorities as the victim of Friday's tragic accident at Evergreen Packaging.

Jefferson County Sheriff Lafayette Woods, Jr. tells Deltaplex News that the incident happened around 10 a.m. Friday morning.

"Yesterday around 10 a.m. we were alerted of an industrial accident at Evergreen Packaging," said Woods, Jr. "[After that] deputies and investigators arrived to the scene. The victim was transported to the ER, where he succumbed to his injuries."
