BROOKHAVEN, Miss. (From news reports) -- The Georgia-Pacific Corporation plant caught fire Wednesday evening, June 16, at the site in Brookhaven.
According to the Lincoln County EMA director, his office received a call about the fire between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Brookhaven firefighters responded to the scene, and they were able to put the fire out around 9:00 p.m.
There's no word on any injuries at this time, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
