DIBOLL, Texas (From news reports) -- Firefighters from three area fire departments responded to a blaze Thursday evening at the Georgia-Pacific particle board production facility in Diboll, Texas.
The fire started in a piece of hydraulic particle board press equipment inside the facility at about 8 p.m., the company said.
"We had approximately 50 people working," Georgia-Pacific spokesperson Yana Olgetree said. "At the first sign of fire the whole facility evacuated immediately."
The machine involved in the fire presses sawdust with adhesives and other materials, Olgetree said.
Officials are working to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported during the incident.
