Plattsburgh, NY (From news reports) -- Investigators don't know what caused a fire at the Georgia-Pacific paper mill on Margaret St in Plattsburgh on Wednesday night, Dec. 20.

The fire started just after 5:00 pm and crews had the flames put out by about 7:00 according to fire officials. Crews were on the scene until about 10:00 pm.

When they arrived, firefighters found heavy smoke and an active fire above a paper machine. One Georgia-Pacific employee had to be treated at the scene, but that was the only injury according to officials.
