NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (From news reports) -- Emergency crews responded to a report of a machine on fire at a North Charleston paper mill Friday night, March 26.
Authorities say it happened at the WestRock paper mill.
Firefighters say when they arrived they coordinated with the facility fire brigade to cool and extinguish a fire located on a large two-story machine inside the factory.
Officials say crews worked to control the fire and cool the area and facility fire suppression controls were used to extinguish the remainder of the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
Crews with the North Charleston, Charleston and St. Andrews fire departments along with Charleston County Rescue and Charleston County EMS responded.
