Washington, D.C. -- The Board of Directors of the Forest Resources Association (FRA) has named Tim O'Hara Interim President. Mr. O'Hara succeeds Keith Gray, who has resigned from his position as President of the Association.
Mr. O'Hara joined FRA in 2018 as Government Affairs and Lake States Region Manager. He was promoted to Vice President of Government Affairs in 2020, leading the Association's lobbying and policy efforts.
FRA Chairman of the Board Pete Stewart, President and CEO of ResourceWise, stated that Mr. O'Hara's policy expertise and deep knowledge of the industry will continue to serve FRA well. "With 30 years of experience in the forest products industry, Tim brings a wealth of experience and expertise to FRA at an important time," Stewart said. "He has made a tremendous impact during his tenure at FRA to date, and we have no doubt he will continue this momentum as FRA's Interim President. The strength of our skilled Association staff will allow FRA to continue to advance the critical policy and business issues we face."
