TENNESSEE (From news reports) - The International Paper Company officially closed its location in Bradley County, following an October announcement that layoffs would begin the shutdown this month.

The International Paper Company announced on October 21, that 115 employees would be affected by the closing of its location on Blue Springs Road in Cleveland.

The first round of employee layoffs was set to begin on December 16, the company said in a notice it sent to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

According to the company's website, both the Cleveland and Memphis locations are permanently closed.
