PEACE RIVER, AB (News release) -- Mercer Peace River Pulp Ltd. ("Mercer Peace River") and Woodland Cree First Nation ("Woodland Cree") have signed a historic agreement extending their co-ownership relationship of Peace River Logging. The renewed partnership is a significant step forward for both parties, which extends their positive working relationship and reinforces their commitment to responsible forestry practices. By working together, Mercer Peace River and Woodland Cree have established one of the most successful logging operations in the region.

"Our partnership with Woodland Cree has been built on mutual respect and a shared vision for a sustainable future. Together, we will continue to be dedicated to sustainable management of forest resources."
