Miami U. paper foundation seeking executive director

The Paper Science and Engineering Foundation at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, is seeking an executive director who will be responsible for all functional aspects of the organization. These aspects include revenue generation, scholarship distribution, long-term planning and analysis, records management and support to foundation committees, faculty, staff, students and alumni. Other responsibilities include the direction of various foundation initiatives, coordination with other Miami administrative departments and other functional activities that may arise.

Selection criteria for the executive director include significant paper industry and/or related support industries experience; understanding of the global paper industry; familiarity with the roles of process engineering, sales and research in the paper industry; general business acumen and good writing and presentation skills. Education should consist minimally of a degree in a business, science or engineering discipline.

This is a part time job (80%) that extends over 12 months.
