It is most disappointing that you only print response comments, in full, that agree with your point of view. Global warming may not and probably is not totally due to our CO2 generation, but it seems foolish to me to deny any possibility that we play a role in it. You do your credibility no favors by appearing to dismiss that possibility.

I had responded to your question regarding "opinion of environmental advocacy groups..." The following week several were reprinted, and no. 8 was mine, "Glaciers and icebergs melting, sea levels rising, extreme" . That was the end of the reprinted comment. I had gone on to say that all of these observations are to me and many others pretty good indications that global warming is happening. Even if they are not totally caused by our production of CO2, we are unwise to simply ignore them, as I felt your comments would have us do. I do not have my original comment on this computer, since I am traveling, but it appeared that responses contrary to your opinions were not being reproduced. I try to look for kernels of truth even in commentary that overall I disagree with, and all I saw in the published responses were those agreeing with you.
