The balance had other answers:
--In retirement now due to downsizing. I woke up everyday with joy in my heart to face the days work to contribute to the success of the company that paid my wages, no matter who's name was on the outside sign. I just feel blessed to have had the opportunity to work for many years in something I loved. Now it is time for others to serve.
--I do have some "after retirement" plans to remain active,at 65 or so.
--I've retired already, earlier than expected.
--I was pushed out, retired early, but I was almost ready to go.
