Office Products Innovation

Here was our question:

Last week we appointed you innovator of tissue. You did so well, we are expanding your role. What opportunites do you think home offices bring to paper grades?

You said:

>Higher margins through lower volume per purchaser

>Nothing spectacular. However, i am sure that home office presidents (who are generally delegated the job of buying the toilet paper) will buy high quality, instead of the "away from home" junk that office purchasing agents buy. I have been president for 40 years and buy good (not necessarily most expensive) quality for our world headquarters

>The home office tends to use better paper for writing and printing, especially as this not bought by the "mothercompany" but by the homeworker itself. For tissue I think that the rolls at home ar much smaller then in the "big office" so the "office quality" needs to be made in smaller rolls. At home they will not tend to use paper towels or airdryers to dry the hands.

Thank you for participating!

This week's quiz is here.

Want to get a jump on the surveys? Follow me on twitter, where they are posted early. You can do this here. (note: all respondents are confidential; the software is programmed in such a way that neither we nor anyone else can determine who responded)
