This one is very specific. Fire departments are using them a lot for pre-fire mapping of commercial buildings, response route maps specific for the alarm, on-scene reporting, and a bunch of other stuff. I stopped and asked the on-scene officer how it worked. Amazing compared to the paper reports, juggling maps in the truck and not knowing what was inside that building.
Forestry applications abound, too, for cruising, mapping, harvest planning.
