North Jersey printing services firm RRD to lay off 201, second largest total in NJ in 2024

NEW JERSEY (From news reports) -- The second largest round of layoffs announced so far this year in New Jersey will hit a West Caldwell printing services company in September.

R.R. Donnelley, or RRD, is letting go of 201 employees at its West Caldwell location, which they will be closing, according to a notice filed with the New Jersey Department of Labor.

The company specializes in marketing, packaging, print and supply chain services, according to their website. R.R Donnelley did not respond to multiple emails seeking comment.

The West Caldwell location in particular deals with document production and mailing services including "full variable black and color imaging, inserting, and bindery/kitting," the website states.
