CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (From news reports) - On Monday night a fire broke out in an outlying building at the Chillicothe Papermill, and now that's being investigated.

According to the Pixelle company on 17 Jan 2022 at 10:38 PM there was a fire in an outlying building in the back of the Chillicothe paper mill property. Mill resources were called and the City of Chillicothe Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no injuries and the fire did not cause any business interruption to the paper mill.

"We want to thank the City of Chillicothe's Fire Department for their quick response," said Pixelle.
