That victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Williams is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury and possession of a firearm by a felon.
No other employees were injured.
Pactiv Evergreen released the following statement:
"We are deeply saddened by this incident, which occurred earlier today at our Greensboro facility. Our hearts go out to the victim, who according to authorities has sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and we wish him a speedy recovery. The safety and wellbeing of our employees is our top priority. We thank the local emergency responders for their support, and we will continue to fully cooperate with the investigation."
