RR Donnelley makes acquisition

TORONTO -- R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company announced today (May 13) that it has acquired Vancouver-based True Colours, a well-known and respected provider of wide format print solutions in Western Canada. The acquisition expands RR Donnelley's capabilities to support clients' signage requirements across North America.

True Colours provides a wide range of signage and display solutions servicing a variety of markets, including corporate signage and décor, food and beverage, hospitality, retail, entertainment, financial, and advertising along with a focus on trade-show and convention print, sales and presentation centers, and exhibition displays.

"The acquisition of True Colours aligns with our corporate strategy to focus on market-specific solutions that add value for our clients across multiple vertical markets, and it further broadens our In-Store Marketing (ISM) offering in Canada," said Drew Sullivan, RR Donnelley's President, Canada. "This acquisition complements our existing large and small format digital imaging and commercial print capabilities across Canada, enhancing our ability to service customers locally in Western Canada while providing national customers with regionalized, multi-plant output located closest to the point of need."
