Worker killed in accident at facility in Turkey

DENIZLI, Turkey (Info from The Turkey Telegraph) - A worker was killed after falling into a boiler at a waste paper recycling facility in the town of Merkezefendi in Denizli, Turkey on Monday night, according to a story by The Turkey Telegraph.

The victim was identified as Ayhan Tekin, age 43.

The newspaper said when coworkers saw Tekin's body in the boiler, emergency personnel were called and the boiler was shut down and emptied.

The fatality is under investigation.

Note: Although the equipment was described as a "boiler", Paperitalo Publications thinks this may be a translation error and the correct equipment description would be a "pulper."
