SIOUX CITY, Iowa (From news reports) - Workers had to evacuate a Sioux City business after a fire broke out at the Smurfit Westrock manufacturing facility, Monday night, March 31.

Sioux City Fire Rescue was called out to the fire at 2300 Bridgeport Drive around 6 p.m.

When crews arrived they found a piece of machinery in the middle of the building on fire. Crews quickly put out the fire.

Investigators don't know the extent of the damage to the machinery.

Officials say no injuries were reported.
